There’s no way a list of family activities this period can exclude this giant yuletide fair. Apart from the light sculptures, “snow blizzards”, toy-themed floral displays and festive market, there are also old-fashioned funfair rides, Christmas-themed light shows and even an indoor snow playground and skating rink. Want to get your kids some new toys without spending a fortune or adding to the clutter in the home? Then bring along your cleaned and complete toys which are in good working condition and exchange them with other like-minded families. The four furry guests from Down Under will be heading home soon and the zoo has lined up a series of koala-themed events in their honour, to be held during the weekends in December.
