2. Speech Therapy Week Puppet Show

Speech Therapy Week raises public awareness of communication and speech disorders that afflict children and adults. This weekend, a series of mini-puppet shows aims to increase the understanding of these disorders. At Sengkang CC.

3. Safari Boo

Come out to play at this “merry-not-scary” event for kids where they can head into the twilight and discover more about animals at the River Safari. Free admission for kids after 6 pm.

4. LEGO Brickbusta

Toys “R” Us Tampines and Paragon host the LEGO Brickbusta Catch The Crooks event where kids get to be real-life detectives and build their own LEGO City Police Car.

5. Maritime RobotX Challenge

Head to The Float @ Marina Bay where teams will be competing at the inaugural Maritime Robotx Challenge and there will be Science & Technology showcase where robots battle each other, and a Tinkering Gallery for visitors to get creative.

6. Extended Night Hours at Singapore History Gallery

The National Museum of Singapore’s History Gallery and PLAY @ National Museum of Singapore stay open till 10 pm this Saturday and next Friday and Saturday before the Singapore History Gallery closes for a period on 3 November. Kids can create their own personalised TV set at PLAY @ NMS in My Favourite 70’s Show on Saturday.

7.  Singapore Armed Forces Band Presents: Bandstand II

The Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage at the Botanic Gardens resonates with the sounds of local music, movies and musical when the SAF Band performs on Sunday evening. Get out into the park to enjoy the outdoor set to music.

8. Carnival of Colours at Yew Tee Point

It’s the last weekend of the carnival at YewTee Point with a carousel, cute Toy Soldiers and colourful balloon displays.
