National Gallery Singapore – Paper Planet by Polyglot Theatre
Let your imagination run wild in a world made of paper. Paper Planet is a spectacular forest of tall cardboard trees that invites kids and adults to fill it with their own paper creations. Entering the space, families make creatures, vines and flowers, costumes and fantastical constructions, adding to the world around them. This is an on-going, durational installation, where audiences build whole communities. Theatre and play merge, as children discover an imaginative world of adventures in this forest of their own making.
Paper Planet is an experience that all ages will find inspiring and utterly blissful. It is a great example of the instinctive creativity that flowers when people are given a suitable place, the right atmosphere and simple materials to play with. With these elements, extraordinary things can be made.
