For the upcoming week-long September holidays, children as young as 18 months to 12 year olds can look forward to the ACT 3 Drama Academy September Holiday Workshops (4 to 9 September 2017, selected dates) whereby ‘Magic, Music and Mayhem’ is the exciting theme of these drama workshops inspired by a magical combination of adventure, fantasy and imagination.

ACT 3 Drama Academy September Holiday Workshops

Flying to Neverland with Peter Pan

For 18 to 36 months, with parent
7, 8, 9 September 2017 (one-session workshop)
10.30am to 11.45am
$60 per child (with parent)
Carefully guided by experienced Drama Educators, this 75-minute parent and child workshop promises an enchanting journey into Neverland through flights of fancy and imagination! There will be inventive use of props, music, dramatic movement and pretend play.

Never Never Land
For 3 to 4; 5 to 7 year olds
4 to 8 September 2017 (five-day workshop)
9.30am to 11.30am; 3.30pm to 5.30pm (2-hour session)
$300 per child
Children will learn how to build confidence, interact with their peers, role playing, as well as sing, dance and recite. There will be a theatre performance for loved ones whereby the newly minted thespians can proudly showcase their newfound talents.

Fantastical Musical
For 8 to 12 year olds
7 and 8 September 2017 (one-session workshop)
2.30pm to 6pm
$110 per child
Unleash the child’s ‘triple-threat’ potential in this 3-hour workshop that focuses on Musical Theatre. Older children will be armed with the basic skills needed to integrate acting, singing and dancing into a classroom sharing for 30 minutes after the workshop. Parents are invited to join in during this time as well.
